The ICMED 2025 is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in the research and academic works presented at the conference. We align with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure a fair, transparent, and professional publication process. Below are the key components of our ethics and malpractice statement:
1. Responsibilities of Authors
- Original Work: Authors must ensure that their submissions are original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism. Proper citations should be provided for all referenced work.
- Data Integrity: Authors must present accurate and reliable data in their submissions. Any manipulation, fabrication, or falsification of research findings is strictly prohibited.
- Authorship Criteria: All contributors who have made significant intellectual or practical contributions to the research must be credited as co-authors. Guest, honorary, or ghost authorship is not permitted.
- Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their research or interpretation of results.
2. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Confidentiality: All manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers are prohibited from sharing or discussing submitted works without authorization.
- Objectivity: Reviewers must provide fair, unbiased, and constructive feedback. Personal criticism of the authors is not acceptable.
- Plagiarism and Ethical Concerns: Reviewers should notify the conference organizers if they identify plagiarism, data fabrication, or any ethical concerns in a manuscript.
3. Responsibilities of Editors
- Fairness: Editors are responsible for evaluating all submissions based on their intellectual content, without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, or nationality.
- ransparency: Decisions on acceptance, rejection, or revisions of manuscripts must be clearly communicated to authors, along with appropriate justifications.
- Conflicts of Interest: Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest and must ensure a fair process for such submissions.
4. Publication Ethics
- Anti-Plagiarism Policy: All submitted works will undergo plagiarism checks using advanced software tools to ensure originality. Plagiarized manuscripts will be rejected immediately.
- Errata and Retractions: If significant errors or ethical concerns are identified post-publication, the conference organizers will issue errata or retractions as necessary.
- Duplicate Submissions: Manuscripts submitted to ICMED 2025 must not be under consideration by other conferences or journals simultaneously.
5. Misconduct and Malpractice
The conference has a zero-tolerance policy toward academic misconduct, including:
- Plagiarism
